The short version: Cluck Point collects almost nothing, and without an account it collects nothing at all. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers and no third party SDKs watching you play. An account exists for one purpose, keeping your coins and gems safe across devices, and you can delete it from inside the game whenever you like.
Playing without an account
The game is fully playable offline and never requires sign in. In that state nothing about you leaves your device. The game keeps a small amount of data in your device's local storage:
- Your best score.
- A randomly generated device id, created by the app itself. It is not a hardware identifier and it identifies nothing outside Cluck Point.
- Sound and quality preferences.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
Signing in
You can create an account with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password where that option is enabled. Accounts are optional. Their only job is to hold your coins and gems somewhere a reinstall cannot erase.
Sign in works on signed tokens. Your device sends the token from Google or Apple to our server, and the server verifies it directly against Google or Apple before trusting anything in it. We never accept an identity a device merely claims to have.
If you use Apple's Hide My Email, that relay address is what we store, and that is fine by us.
What your account holds
- An email address, which may be empty if your provider withheld it.
- A display name you chose, up to 24 characters. If you never chose one, it says Farmer.
- An account subject id from Google or Apple, which is how we recognise you next time.
- An optional profile picture. Our server fetches and stores it itself, so your device never talks to a picture CDN.
- Your coin and gem balances, plus a ledger of every reward the game has paid you.
- The device ids that have signed into the account. These exist so that if an account is ever banned for abuse there is a reason on file.
What a round sends
When you finish a round while signed in, the game reports three things: a session id, a round number, and how far your flag was from the egg, in whole centimetres. That is the entire payload. The server decides what a round is worth. The game never sends amounts, positions, or anything about how you played beyond that one distance.
Rounds played offline are stored on your device and reported when you reconnect. The same three fields, just later.
What we do not collect
- No analytics and no telemetry. There is no measurement SDK in the app at all.
- No advertising and no ad identifiers.
- No crash reporting services.
- No location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone, no photos. The Android build requests exactly one permission, internet access.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone, because there is nothing to sell.
Where your data lives
Account data lives on a private server we rent and operate ourselves. It is not handed to a data platform or an analytics warehouse. The people who can see it are the people who run the game.
Third party services
If you sign in with Google or Apple, that sign in is governed by their terms and privacy policies as well as ours. We receive only the signed token described above. We do not receive your contacts, your other accounts, or anything else from either company.
Deleting your account
Open the account sheet in the game and choose Delete account. Deletion is immediate and removes the account, the wallet, and the entire reward ledger. There is no grace period and no undo. Routine server backups exist for disaster recovery, rotate out on their own schedule, and are never used to bring a deleted account back. Coins and gems are gone with it, which is the point.
Children
Cluck Point has no ads, no chat, no social features and no purchases, and it plays fully without an account. If a child plays it, the sensible configuration is the default one: no account at all, in which case no data about them exists anywhere but their own device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be called out in the app before they apply to you.
